Luciana was raised in Rome by her parents - Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi who was an Italian Army officer, and her maternal grandmother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was at one time Benito Mussolini's mistresses. There's no record of her having siblings. Luciana attended an elementary school in the area before going into the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two women in the class. Luciana began as an actress in fashion after two years. The direction of her career was changed afterward, as by luck, she was offered her first part on screen in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey was the first person she was married. He's an actor. Following the wedding, in 1960 they made a movie together entitled Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was granted custody following the divorce. They had a baby boy named Charles who was born in June of 1961. Luciana enjoyed a lengthy relationship with Tony Athony, who was a film actor and actor. Tony was influenced by Luciana's role as Green Slime in Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
