Lisa Olivia Munn, a famous actress and singer has been born at Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese heritage and was born during the war in Vietnam. Her father Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family which has deep roots in America's South. Olivia's parents divorced when she was two years old, and she was raised by her stepfather and mother, a member of the United States Air Force. Olivia was raised in Tokyo in Japan. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma to various other locations but it was the city of Tokyo where she got the majority of her education. During this time, Olivia appeared in several local theater productions. Then she was a Japanese model. After the family returned home to United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her aspirations of becoming a professional actress. After a few small roles, her career took a very promising turn when she was offered the character of Mily Acuna in the Hawaii-focused television series Beyond the Break (2006) and the role as Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan (2007). She is the host of "The Daily Nut", "Formula D", and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. Her love of surfing has been a constant following the television series Beyond the Break. Additionally, she holds black belts in Taekwondo. When she was two, her mother remarried. She was married the son of a US Air Force serviceman. Her family was primarily from Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather served. In the University of Oklahoma is where she completed her studies in journalism, with a minor in Japanese as well as drama and dramatic arts.
